Sadie Saturday Nite is a concept album about growing up punk in San Francisco in the 70s. It's songs and stories about hanging out and playing in an All-Girl band. The album is a companion piece to the one woman/one guitar player show that Jean performed in Austin, Ontario and Buffalo.

The album was recorded at Sounds Outrageous in Austin, TX co-produced with Lars Gorannson.  Josh Robins (Invincible Czars) plays on a bunch of tracks and co-wrote two of the songs.
